A Certificate of Residence in Thailand (often referred to as a Residence Certificate or TM.16) is an official document issued by the Thai Immigration Bureau to prove a foreigner’s address, commonly required for driving licenses, vehicle registration, or banking. The application form can be downloaded as a PDF or DOC file from immigration websites and typically costs 200 THB.

- Required Documents:
- Completed application form (TM.18 or similar).
- Passport with a valid visa and a copy of the photo page, last entry stamp, and TM.6 departure card.
- Original and copy of the lease agreement or house registration book.
- Recent utility bill (electric or water) or internet bill in your name.

- Proof of 90-day report (if you have lived in Thailand for more than 90 days).
